Platters is the best place for seafood enthusiast like me. My favorite is the clam chowder! I've never had clam chowder that's better than my own recipe but Platters only! We'll keep coming back to this restaurant.

Looking for somewhere to eat on the Barbican, Plymouth..found Platters ...what a good choice I had the trio of fish ..which was Gunnard, Plaice & Bass... Absolutely cooked perfectly, my wife had the Crab Sandwich which she really enjoyed both come with limitless chips, we really enjoyed the experience, match that with a lovely atmosphere and great servers, needless to say I think we will be going back.

A friend of mine recommended Platters, and I definitely owe him a beer! Fantastic, friendly service with great quality seafood! My daughter and I both went for the cod and chips, and we were not disappointed. The batter was perfect, with a slight crunch and a beautiful flaky cod inside - delicious. The chips were very good - non-greasy, which is very rare today! We both had a pudding of chocolate fudge cake and creme brulee; we were absolutely stuffed! The restaurant is a nice, friendly size with colourful, sea-themed artwork on the walls. We would happily return!

Amazing ! My son absolutely loved it percent. The garlic bread is a must have. Or your time is wasted. Mussels are also amazing. Make sure to ask to keep the sauce for chips . REMEMBER

Popped down to the Barbican today, and took a chance on Platters restaurant, and we were not disappointed. Great service, fantastic food, and plentiful portions. Prices were not excessive for the quality of the food and service, and wouldn’t hesitate to pay a return visit.

The food is really good and very fresh. Fish, in particular, is amazing. For 15 you will get a very big portion of chips with extremely generous fresh portion of fish. Staff are so polite and tentative but not in your face. Place is on Barbican, if visiting excellent place to have something to eat. Highly recommend visiting when in Plymouth.

The food easily makesnup for the lack of ambiance, dont misjudge this very ordinary looking restaurant. We had a excellent lunch, fresh fish, all very tasty. Definitely better than the fish and chip shops in the area.

Small and cosy restaurant. Fresh fish and waitresses are very nice. Octopus is great wich surprise me. But the seafood paella is a bit too salty. Good value of price. It’s our second time here. And it was great! We had a seafood platter which is superb. It was 4 stars on last time and five stars for today ! The waiter is very friendly and patients . Thx
